Nancy Atkinson
My name is Nancy Atkinson and I have been a resident of Edgewood since 1991.  I moved to Northern Kentucky from Lexington where I attended the University of Kentucky.  I studied biology and general sciences and later earned a degree in nursing from Northern Kentucky University.  I am currently employed as a Registered Nurse at St. Elizabeth Hospital.  I am married to Bill Atkinson and we have two children, Charlie and Annie.

In 2004, I decided to run for City Council for the City of Edgewood.  In addition to being on Council for the City I am involved in many professional organizations. I serve on the NKAPC Council as an alternate, I am a Commissioner for the NKAPC, I am on the Board of Directors for the Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana Board of Governments and serve as Vice President for the Dixie Colonel Club PTO organization.

Edgewood is a wonderful community surrounded by beautiful parks, safe sidewalks, a thriving medical community and people who take great pride in their city.  I feel it is a privilege to serve as a Council Member to the City.  Please feel free to contact me anytime with questions or concerns.
